English

This week we wrote dialogues between a modern-day interviewer and an Anglo-Saxon from the 5th century A.D. We practised our dialogues together and then presented our "Interview with an Anglo-Saxon" to the class. It was great fun to see how each group spoke and how they gave us more information about how the Anglo-Saxons lived in a relaxed way.

Art

We have spent the last three Art lesson brain storming ideas and designing some "Activism" posters. First we discussed issues that we think are really important, like climate change, poaching, the destruction of the Amazon rainforest, gender equality and racism. Then, this week we started designing the posters, making sure that our lettering was large and bold against our backgrounds. We can't wait to see the finished products!

Gymnastics

We had another fun lesson at Kennylands Gym. We started our lesson by playing a gym version of "rob the bank". We were then split up into 3 groups and we all had turns on the bars, trampoline and beams. Although we are really exhausted after gym, we enjoy our lessons immensely.
